About

I’m a PhD student focusing on how companies should work with their Requirements Engineering and Product Management towards Open Source communities.

More specifically, I’m looking at companies’ contribution strategies in regards to what to should contribute/open source, when and to whom in the communities. In order to be able to execute on the contribution strategies, and set up goals that are aligned with internal business needs, I also focus on how companies can set up community strategies. These describe how to engage and invest in the communities, and help to prioritize communities that may be more important than others.

I have a background as a software developer at IKEA and Capgemini, and hold an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management specializing in Software Engineering from Lund University. I’m passionate about Open Source and how in may be used in startups and large companies, in education and humanitarian aid.
